RAWALPINDI: Pakistani security forces conducted three intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, resulting in the elimination of nine Indian-sponsored militants.
In the first operation, carried out in Dera Ismail Khan District, troops responded to confirmed intelligence regarding the presence of militants. Following a fierce exchange of fire, four militants were killed.
A second operation in Tank District led to the neutralization of two more militants during an armed engagement.
In a third encounter in the general area of Bagh, Khyber District, security personnel successfully engaged and eliminated three additional militants.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the deceased individuals, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.
Sanitization operations are ongoing to clear the area of any remaining threats, as Pakistan’s security forces continue their efforts to eradicate Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.
