Security Forces Foil Infiltration Attempt in Zhob, Eliminate Six Terrorists

RAWALPINDI: Own security forces have thwarted an infiltration attempt by a group of Khwarij near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the general area of Sambaza, Zhob District, during the night of January 22-23. Acting on intelligence reports, the vigilant troops engaged the infiltrators, neutralizing six terrorists in the process.

A substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the group, preventing potential acts of terrorism.

Pakistan has consistently emphasized the importance of effective border management and has called upon the Interim Afghan Government to fulfill its responsibilities in ensuring that Khwarij does not use Afghan soil to orchestrate terrorism against Pakistan.

The security forces reiterated their commitment to safeguarding the nation’s borders and eradicating the menace of terrorism, vowing to continue such operations to maintain peace and stability in the region.
