RAWALPINDI: Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of General Staff (CGS) of the Iranian Armed Forces, visited Pakistan’s General Headquarters (GHQ) today, where he met with General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan.
The two military leaders engaged in discussions focused on the prevailing regional security environment and explored avenues for enhancing bilateral defense cooperation.
Upon his arrival at the GHQ, Major General Bagheri paid his respects by laying a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada, honoring Pakistan’s fallen soldiers. He was received with warm hospitality, including a guard of honor by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army.
