Pakistan Army lauds Nation’s support, Reiterates defence readiness amid regional tensions

RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, presided over the 270th Corps Commanders’ Conference at GHQ, where national security, regional threats, and internal stability were extensively reviewed.

The session began with prayers for the martyrs of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and the recent Khuzdar terror attack, which the Forum condemned as an Indian proxy-sponsored atrocity targeting civilians. The Army reaffirmed its resolve to protect the nation and honour the sacrifices of the fallen.

Participants congratulated the COAS on his elevation to Field Marshal, recognizing his strategic leadership. The Forum celebrated the successful completion of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, hailing the Armed Forces’ professionalism and public support.

The Forum denounced India’s covert operations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, declaring that all terror proxies would be decisively countered. Human rights violations in IIOJK were also condemned, with a renewed pledge of support to the Kashmiri cause.

COAS Munir praised the morale and readiness of troops and emphasized continued vigilance against evolving threats. He reaffirmed that the people of Pakistan remain the Army’s greatest strength in safeguarding national integrity.
