Afghan Terrorist killed in Pakistani security operation in North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Pakistani security forces successfully neutralized an Afghan national involved in terrorist activities within Pakistan. The operation, conducted in the general area of Datta Khel, resulted in the killing of Luqman Khan, also known as Nusrat, son of Kamal Khan. He was identified as a resident of Spera district in Khost province, Afghanistan.

This incident follows a recent operation in which another Afghan national, reportedly the son of a deputy governor of an Afghan province, was also killed.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), authorities of the Interim Afghan Government are being approached to take custody of the deceased individual. The incident further underscores the involvement of Afghan nationals in terrorist activities within Pakistan.

Pakistani authorities have reiterated their expectation that the Interim Afghan Government will fulfill its obligations by preventing the use of Afghan territory for launching terrorist attacks against Pakistan.
