RAWALPINDI: Security forces have successfully neutralized four terrorists affiliated with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in two separate operations conducted in the Zhob district of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Thursday.
According to ISPR, the operations were intelligence-based, and after an intense exchange of gunfire, two militants were killed on the spot. A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the terrorists’ hideouts.
In another operation two more terrorist were sent to hell.
The apprehended militants, labeled as Khawarij by the security forces, were involved in several terrorist attacks and were actively planning to target both security forces and innocent civilians, the statement added.
The ISPR reaffirmed the unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s security forces in their fight against terrorism, emphasizing their commitment to safeguarding the nation and ensuring the protection of its citizens from the threat of militant violence.
