Brave officer sacrifices life as security forces decimate militant hideout

PESHAWAR: Pakistani security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan District, targeting militants reportedly involved in terrorist activities.

Acting on credible intelligence, security personnel stealthily surrounded the hideout and launched a precise assault, eliminating all ten militants. During the intense exchange of fire, Captain Hasnain Akhtar, 24, from District Jhelum, led his troops with unwavering bravery and made the ultimate sacrifice, embracing martyrdom.

Captain Hasnain was widely respected for his courage and decisive actions in previous operations. Security forces recovered a cache of weapons and ammunition from the neutralized militants, who had been actively engaged in attacks against law enforcement agencies and the targeted killing of civilians.

A thorough sanitization operation is underway to clear any remaining threats in the area. Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute in their commitment to eradicating terrorism, drawing strength from the sacrifices of their brave officers.
