DROSH: The district administration, in collaboration with the police, has initiated a crackdown to enforce traffic laws and curb underage and unlicensed driving in Drosh.
On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner Lower Chitral, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) Drosh, Khalilullah, along with SHO Drosh, Bulbul Hassan, and the traffic staff, conducted roadside inspections targeting underage drivers and motorcyclists.
During the operation, legal action was taken against individuals driving without helmets, riding without licenses, and transporters charging fares beyond the officially approved rates.
AAC Drosh Khalilullah instructed drivers and motorcyclists to avoid overspeeding and reckless driving and to strictly adhere to traffic regulations. He warned that no leniency would be shown towards underage drivers of cars and motorcycles.
The public has widely appreciated the efforts of the district administration and police to improve road safety and discipline in the area.
