DROSH: Rehmat Shujauddin, who lost his life in a tragic shooting incident in Mori Lasht, was laid to rest on Monday in his ancestral graveyard in Naghor Dhap, Drosh, in the presence of hundreds of mourners.
According to details, Rehmat Shujauddin, a resident of Drosh, was shot and killed by members of an opposing party over a land dispute at Mori Lasht on Sunday.
His funeral prayers were offered on Monday in Naghor Dhap, attended by a large number of people from various areas of Chitral, including community elders, relatives, and friends.
Rehmat Shujauddin belonged to the well-known Hakim family of Drosh and was the son of retired Police Inspector Rehmat Salahuddin. His untimely and unjust killing has caused widespread grief in the area.
Local residents have strongly condemned the incident and called for justice to be served.
