CHITRAL: Residents of Chitral have been grappling with persistent disruptions in PTCL’s internet service, causing widespread frustration and affecting daily life across the district. Despite several days of poor connectivity, the company has yet to implement any meaningful measures to address the issue.
The ongoing outages have severely impacted a broad segment of the population. Students have been unable to attend online classes, while digital businesses and professionals dependent on stable internet are reporting significant losses and productivity setbacks.
Adding to public dissatisfaction is the fact that PTCL continues to collect regular monthly fees from users, despite failing to provide consistent and reliable service.
Angry consumers are now urging government authorities and relevant regulatory bodies to intervene and compel PTCL to restore and improve internet infrastructure in the region without further delay. Residents emphasize that access to stable internet is no longer a luxury, but a vital necessity for education, business, and communication.
