CHITRAL: Flight Lieutenant (R) Riffatullah Khan has formally assumed the office of District Police Officer (DPO) Lower Chitral. Upon his arrival at the Police Lines after taking charge, he was received by SP Investigation Muhammad Shafi Shifa, SP Elite Force Atiq-ur-Rehman, DSP Headquarters Iqbal-ud-Din, SDPO Chitral Circle Sajjad Hussain, DSP Investigation Hazrat-ud-Din, DSP Security Tamiz-ud-Din, Line Officer Fazal Kareem and other police officials.
A well-turned-out contingent of Lower Chitral Police presented a salute to the new DPO. DPO Riffatullah Khan visited the Martyrs’ Monument, laid floral wreaths, and offered prayers for the departed souls.
After assuming charge, the DPO expressed his resolve to maintain law and order across the district, protect the youth from the menace of drugs, ensure public facilitation, and uphold the rule of law at all costs.
